Sustainment Fund for Landlords
Are you private landlord or institutional investor and do you want to make one or more of your rental homes more sustainable? On the website of the National Government you can see whether you are eligible for the Subsidy Scheme for Sustainable and Maintenance of Rental Homes (SVOH). With this scheme you will receive a subsidy for energy -saving measures to make your rental home (s) more sustainable.
Main changes as of April 1, 2023:
All owners of existing rental properties, except housing associations, are eligible for the SVOH. So the rental price of the property or the number of rental properties in possession with a rental price under the liberalization limit is no longer considered.
Buildings with a monument status are eligible for the SVOH. For monuments, other insulation requirements and subsidy amounts sometimes apply than for non-monuments.
Instead of 2 measures, you can also request the SVOH for one energy -saving measure. Please note: the subsidy amount also halves with one measure. Do you want to receive a subsidy for a maintenance measure? Then you must also have at least one energy -saving measure executed.
There will be reporting frames for the SVOH. These lists show the materials/products of the energy -saving measures for which you receive a subsidy. This way you immediately know whether your measure meets the conditions of the SVOH.
Do you submit a grant application before April 1, 2023? Then these changes do not apply, but the current conditions of the SVOH.
You receive a subsidy for:
energy -saving measures;
maintenance measures;
Energy advice.
How much subsidy do you get?
You receive a maximum of € 6,000 subsidy per home. In total, the government grants a maximum of € 400,000 subsidy.
There is currently more than 152 million available and this scheme is available until 2025, so now take advantage of it!
